News and notes from MISCA:

The Haiku Poetry Contest winners will be honored on Sunday, April 20th, from 2-3:30 p.m. in the Coral Reef Room (downstairs, same location as last year) at Underwater Adventures in the Mall of America.

The tennis team from the Minneapolis area had a successful trip to Ibaraki this past November.

High school students from Ibaraki are visiting Minneapolis March 23-31, 2008.

Ibaraki Day, and the Sister City Celebration dates for this summer, in Minneapolis in July, to be announced.

The Board had its annual meeting on Feb. 10th, and is preparing a gift for our distinguished visitors to be presented at Ibaraki Day.

Upcoming meetings of the Board will be on May 13 and June 10, 6 p.m. at Kikugawa.
